Extending 0-3 Provision

Developing early years provision is a main priority for BnG to increase the number of Gaelic speakers.  Research shows that the earlier children begin to learn Gaelic the more fluent they will become.  If they begin to learn Gaelic at 0-3 stage they will have more understanding and vocabulary before they transfer to Sgoil Àraich.  The Bòrd supports 0-3 Gaelic groups interested in extending their current provision and provide opportunities for children to learn Gaelic from an early age.

Bòrd na Gàidhlig welcomes applications from 0-3 Gaelic groups interested in extending hours of opening.

The deadline for applications has now closed and will reopen in the autumn.
